AOA President Karen J. Nichols, DO, traveled to the "Sunshine State" last night to represent the AOA at the Florida Society of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians' (FSACOFP) Annual Convention and National Family Practice Update, taking place 7/28-8/1/10 in Orlando. President Nichols spoke at the FSACOFP Membership Luncheon this afternoon, briefing DOs on her presidential theme of "teamwork" and thanking them for their commitment to the osteopathic medical profession. Tomorrow she will be a featured speaker at the FSACOFP Residents and Students Luncheon, where we understand she will urge these young members of the profession to stay osteopathic and stay involved throughout their careers.
