AOA President Karen J. Nichols, DO, and I are in the "Old Line State" today representing the AOA team at the Regional Osteopathic Medical Education (ROME) Program - Mid-Atlantic, taking place 7/29-31/10 in Cambridge, Md. A collaborative meeting jointly sponsored by the AOA and the Maryland Association of Osteopathic Physicians (MAOP), ROME welcomed 118 registrants, 16 speakers, and 14 exhibitors. President Nichols spoke at ROME's Opening Session today, thanking the participants for supporting her Presidential theme of "Teamwork" and for their commitment to the osteopathic medical profession. We both greeted attendees at a reception tonight and will meet with the MAOP Board of Trustees tomorrow.
