The AOA Daily Reports Blog is a daily
update on everything the AOA does to advocate and educate on behalf
of the osteopathic profession. It advises all AOA members of the major
developments affecting the osteopathic medical profession today and
provides excerpts from significant health policy issues and clinical
research. Please take advantage of the comment feature, as we always
welcome and value your thoughts and concerns. We can DO it! |

Get to know the AOA's 2007-2008 President, Peter B. Ajluni, DO,
through the AOA President's Blog. The
AOA is here to support our entire osteopathic family, from students
to retiring physicians. That starts by listening. Every concern should
be heard. In return, the AOA wants every DO and osteopathic medical
student to become actively involved in the AOA. The AOA's President's
Blog provides an avenue to do just that. |
 |
The AOA Family Aid Initiative blog serves
as an online clearinghouse through which DOs and osteopathic medical
students (OMS) whose homes and clinics were damaged or destroyed
in a disaster can post their needs and other members of the osteopathic
professional family can respond. |

The Health
Politics Blog offers insights and updates from Dr. Mike Magee
on the ever changing health care landscape and its intersection
with government and regulatory affairs. As Dr. Magee noted in his
pioneer post, "Blogging will help change health care drastically,
mostly by speeding patient empowerment ahead even faster than it's
already moving.... our health care system is in need of repair,
and all of us with a stake in the game can benefit by sharing our
ideas and opinions."
